The Lynx dropped a 6-2 decision to Piedmont this evening at the Millsaps Classic in Jackson, MS.  Trailing 2-0 in the 6th, the Lynx cut the lead to 2-1 on a 2 out double by Rebekah Moore and an RBI single by Sara Bowen.  Piedmont answered with 4 runs on 3 hits in the bottom half of the inning, giving them a 6-1 lead heading into the 7th.  The Lynx rallied for 3 hits in the 7th, but managed only a single run.  Rhodes out hit Piedmont 9-7, but stranded 7 runners on base.  Rhodes returns to action at Noon tomorrow in a rematch against Piedmont.
